This beautiful scarf was hand-woven with handspun locally grown cotton in natural cream and black, and wild raw Tussar silk, all combined in irregular stripes. The edges are finished by a black band. The combination of the cotton in contrasting shades and the golden shine of the raw Tussar silk give this scarf an extremely rich texture. The scarf is finished with a sewn hem. Perfect for women and men alike!

This piece was designed by Geeta Patil and produced in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, in the context of the Gudi Mudi Khadi Project from WomenWeave. Gudi Mudi means "scrunched" in the local language, a perfect word to describe the attractive natural look and texture of the textiles produced from this project.
